Resolution SLT/2700/2020, of 29 October, extending and modifying public health measures to contain the epidemic outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Catalonia.

1. In reference to the university field (Degree in Nursing, master's and postgraduate degrees):

• Resolution of the Rector of the Universitat de Barcelona on the exceptional measures to contain the epidemic outbreak.
• It is about of continuing to face-to-face sessions only for those activities that require the use of specialized equipment or learning environments, and to teach the rest of the teaching online, as we have been doing so far.
• The Consell Interuniversitari de Catalunya (CIC) has agreed on a common approach to the request of Public Health to maintain the reduction of face-to-face activity, while respecting university autonomy. The agreed measure is adopted for a period of 30 days to promote university governance, as well as the stability of teaching activity. The agreement is as follows: “Within the framework of the Consell Interuniversitari de Catalunya, the Government and the 12 Catalan universities have agreed that during the month of November all teaching will be virtual and only internships and assessments will be maintained as an exception, extreme protection measures”.
• It is recommended that students who have to go to the University’s facilities carry the self-responsible travel certificate for the health crisis for the COVID-19 drawn up by the Department of the Interior of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

2. In reference to the scope of the Departament d’Educació (Training Cycles):

• Real Decreto-ley 31/20202, of 29 September, adopting urgent measures in the field of non-university education.
• Resolution for which urgent measures are adopted in the field of initial training courses and special regime courses for the 2020-2021 academic year.
• Communication of Departament d’Educació (october 29, 2020) on new heath measures.

That is why, following all the recommendations on the new measures taken by the Generalitat government in relation to the pandemic generated by Covid-19, we would like to inform you that from Monday 2 November, teaching will be given in hybrid mode. alternate (face-to-face / virtual format at 50%). Internships at the Sant Agustí Simulation Center, as well as in hospitals, will continue to be carried out in the way they are planned, in person.

It is recommended that students who have to go to the University facilities carry the self-resposible certificate of travel due to the healt crisis for the Covid-19 drawn up by the Department of the Interior of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
