The Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu intends to achieve integral, professional, human and ethical training for those who feel vocationally inclined and possess aptitudes for caring, healing and serving the individual and the community, wether it be in health or disease situation.

We take inspiration from the spirit and criteria of the work of San Juan de Dios and in the phylosophy it emits, of which we specify the following points:

• We want to be faithful to the person who suffers, executing everything that can contribute to their healing and integral well-being.
• We want to defend the rights of patients and perform an assistance labour depending on the person, offering competent services depending on the technical requirements but trying to humanize them at maximum.
• We act with the utmost respect towards the convictions and beliefs of the patients, and we help them discover, from the sickness, the meaning of their life.
• Being aware of our limitations, we associate with other people, professionals or volunteers, in the conducting of our mission and try to make them participants of our phylosophy and our spirit in patient care.
