MASTER AND POSTGRADUATE COMMISSION

The Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu has organized the Postgraduate and Master’s Degree Training Commission with the aim of ensuring good coordination and unification of criteria in the management of postgraduate training.

Composition:

Commission coordinator: Master and Postgraduate Coordinator
Campus Docent Faculty members who are Postgraduate and Master Directors

Functions:

1. Establish common criteria for the design, preparation, dissemination, administrative and teaching organization, execution and evaluation of Master’s and Postgraduate degrees.
2. Establish the work schedule for the good management of courses.
3. Propose improvements in the management of postgraduate training.
4. Define the criteria for the tutoring of Postgraduate and Master’s degrees.
5. Analyze special situations that can be derived during the course development.
6. Evaluate final evaluations of each course.
7. Meet with the rest of Masters and Postgraduate directors to pass decisions and collect proposals.
8. Inform the faculty of changes and relevant aspects.

Decision-making mechanisms:

The commission meets at least three times per academic year and at least once a year with all Postgraduate and Master directors.

Minutes are made of all meetings, which are given to all members for approval. Agreements and activities to be carried out are specified.

Participation of Stakeholders:

• Students: Suggestions, proposals for improvement, issues and other topics proposed are collected and analyzed.
• Administrations and teaching staff of the Postgraduates and Masters: Suggestions, proposals for improvement, issues and other topics are collected and analyzed.
• PAS: Close collaboration is maintained with the secretaries of each course.
• Administration Campus Docent: At the management meetings of the Campus Docent the main agreements and course development are reported.
• Faculty of the Campus Docent: Periodically, information is provided on the most relevant aspects of the courses.
• Patronage of the Campus Docent: You are informed about the offer of Postgraduate and Master’s degrees and the changes that have occurred.
• Workplaces: The training offer is disseminated.
• Centres of the Order of Saint John of God: The training offer is disseminated.
• Curia: Every year, the offer of postgraduate training and the changes that have occurred are explained.
• Society: The training offer is disseminated.
• University of Barcelona: The courses that can be offered are UB degrees, through the Graduate School Agency.
