The Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu is a private, non-profit institution, member of the Hospital Order San Juan de Dios and associated centre to the University of Barcelona.
In our web you can find our institutional phylosophy, the vision and mission of the institution, our ethos, our history, training offers, investigation lines, activities we develop, our services and facilities and the Simulation Centre San Agustín.
The Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu displays an educative style of its own that reflects the sociocultural spirit the Order has elaborated and expressed throughout its history, in their desire of giving an answer to the needs of the people and society. We have found the way of combining tradition, ethics, solidarity and cooperation, gender perspective and social inequalities, with the practice based on evidence, critical thought, leadership, decision-making. new learning models, R¬D and innovation, etc. with a continuous upgrade so is able to answer the demands and social changes that we are living. In order to face these challenges we work closely and intensively with the rest of institutions of the OHSJD: hospitals, health centre, social services, care facilities and communities.
