Advancing in its commitment to carry out an ethical management, the Hospital Order of San Juan de Dios - Province of Aragon San Rafael (OHSJD) has developed an action plan on criminal liability by which the Campus Docent Private Foundation (CD) has adopted a Model for the Prevention of Criminal Risks to detect and prevent the commission of crimes within its organizations and at the same time to adapt to the latest reforms of the Penal Code that have introduced the entity criminal liability.
A key element of this model, and one that must be complied with, is the OHSJD Code of Conduct, which we are currently presenting. It sets out the set of basic rules and principles of action that should guide the actions of individuals and companies providing services or collaborating with OHSJD. This code, of course, develops principles already contained in the OHSJD Code of Ethics and Code of Good Governance.
Among the various measures contained in the aforementioned action plan, the creation of a Committee, the "Body for Monitoring Procedures" at the Campus Docent, responsible for overseeing the correct implementation of the prevention model stands out, as well as the implementation of an external reporting channel through which actions or omissions that may be considered criminal can be reported and accessed here.
