Functions of the UB card - University of Barcelona
The UB card is a smart card: it incorporates a chip that certifies personal data, identifies you to make arrangements at the University and grants you access to a perk plan specially designed for you.
How do you get it?
Once you have enrolled, you must go to the Banco Santander offices located at the UB, where they will take your picture and give you, instantly, the smart university card (TUI).
- Monday to Friday from 8:30h to 10:30h and Wednesday from 15:30h to 16:30h. Offices:
- Faculty of Economics and Business. Diagonal, 690-696. 08034, Barcelona.
- Faculty of Physics and Chemistry. Martí Franquès, 1. 08028, Barcelona.
- Historic Building. Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 585. 08007, Barcelona.
- Campus Mundet. Passeig de la Vall d'Hebron, 171. 0835, Barcelona.
What should be done in case of loss, theft, change of photography, etc?
In case of loss, theft, deterioration or any other incidence of the TUI, you must inform us of the incidence by telephone (934 031 398), or by email (carnetub@ub.edu).
What should I do to renew it?
If the UB card has expired, to renew it you must go to the offices of Banco Santander located on the campuses of the University of Barcelona.
How is the change of personal data communicated?
- Go to the student and teaching secretariat at your school to tell them about the change.
- If you have a UB card with financial benefits, you must also report the change to Banco Santander.
